Bottom Trawler in the Barents Sea

Resource - Greenpeace asset

Trawler Kirkella operates in the Barents sea off the east coast of Svalbard. Most of the fishing vessels operating in the area are using bottom trawl, pulling huge nets to scoop up fish, a practice which is damaging to the seabed and all the creatures that live here.
