Shrimp Trawler, Gulf of California. The Greenpeace vessel ‘MY Esperanza’ is in the ÒWorldÕs AquariumÓ on the Gulf of California, Mexico as part of the Defending Our Oceans Tour. Pressure from destructive fishing, pollution and uncontrolled tourism development are threatening life in the Aquarium. Greenpeace is calling for a network of marine reserves to protect such areas.
