The images contained in this collection were taken by Dr. Sarah Foster during her PhD studies (Is bycatch a big problem for small fish? Assessing and addressing the impacts of tropical shrimp trawling on small fish species).

During this time, Sarah lived aboard a Mexican shrimp trawler for six months. This trawler operated in the southern Gulf of California, Mexico.
