Welcome to the Transform Bottom Trawling Coalition newsletter with updates from our members and the coalition’s achievements.

This month we welcomed four new organisations to the global movement to transform bottom trawling, bringing us to 51 members working across 24 countries! At the same time, we’ve been busy honing our campaigns and preparing for the packed schedule of global ocean events in 2022, starting with the UN Oceans Conference in Lisbon, which will take place in June.

The coalition’s work was featured in an article by the French publication Equal Times, which presents constructive and balanced perspectives on key issues and solutions to bottom trawling, and in a Rise Up Network blog.
